Taos United is a local grassroots non profit organization of social and political activists. They wanted a WordPress site that would showcase all of their different: Action Groups, Action Alerts, Monthly Meetings and other important information.
This theme worked well for them because they wanted each of their Action Groups to have it’s own blog. This theme has “categories” incorporated into it, which made it smooth to have about ten different blog streams within one website.
I also worked with using several different plug-ins to achieve the features that they wanted. Some of these included: their Facebook feed to show up on their website, an Events calendar, recent events, and recent posts showing up on their home page.
After a little training they can now make new additions (posts, pages, events) to the site themselves.
